I'm a software engineer who builds and ships real products for clients and for myself. I designed and launched Saugerties Self Storage, a live commercial site a local business runs on every day, with online reservations, mapping, and a customer portal. I'm also building Backstop, my own SaaS that monitors and backs up apps built on AI and no-code tools so they don't break in production without anyone noticing. I work across the whole stack, from the interface down to the database, and I like understanding how things work all the way down. Before engineering I studied psychology and worked in a high-stakes therapeutic setting, which taught me to stay calm under pressure and explain hard things in plain language.
